JUDGMENT Jenkins, C.J. - Neither of the points urged in this appeal appears to us to be capable of being sustained. I feel no doubt, as Mr. Justice Banerjee held, of the validity of a relinquishment made in favour of the landlord by one of two or more tenants for the purpose of affecting the share of that tenant. At the same time the argument that the relinquishment is inoperative because it has to take effect from a future date is of no force. The result is that the decree must be confirmed and this appeal dismissed with costs.
