Nishi Kanta Pal v. Emperor

1916-03-31

CHITTY, WALMSLEY

body1916
JUDGMENT 1. In this case we have read the explanation of the Magistrate, but we still adhere to our opinion that the conviction and sentences on the petitioners cannot stand on the grounds on which the Rule was granted. No offence u/s 186, Indian Penal Code, appears to have been committed. The Rule is made absolute. The fines, if paid, will be refunded.
