ORDER Lakshmana Rao, J. 1. There is no provision of law empowering the court to award compensation to an acquitted accused out of the fine imposed on a convicted accused and the order of the Honorary Presidency Magistrate is unsustainable. It is therefore set aside and the compensation, if paid, to the second accused will be recovered.
