ORDER :- The two petitioners are sisters. They were married and divorced after a short while. One Mani Devi the elder one has again re-married. 2. They have applied for the grant of a sale certificate to enable them to dispose of some of the property left by their father. This is to repay the debt which they took to meet the Shradha ceremony of their grand-mother who has died about 2 months ago. They dont know the amount borrowed. One of them has stated that a deed was executed for the same debt and signed by both of them. The elder one has stated that no deed was executed at all. Apart from it, there is no cause for the grant of a sale certificate. A sale certificate is necessary only in the case of a guardian when he wants to dispose of property of the minor and in the case of a widow when she wants to dispose of property left by her deceased husband. The present case does not fall in either of the above categories. This application, therefore, is rejected. Application rejected.
