Short Note : 1. It is not disputed that even if for the sake of argument it was assumed that the transaction was covered by the definition debt, the provisions of M.P. Anusuchit Jati Tatha Anusuchit Janjati Riti Adhiniyam, 1967 were not applicable to the present suit inasmuch as the two transactions in question were of 28.1.1975 and 4.2.1975 i.e. after 15.8.1973 the appointed day. 2. It has been well settled that the Act, applied only to a debt borrowed before the appointed day and does not apply to a debt incurred after that date. Channilal vs. Bundelal, 1972 JLJ 760 relied on, Revision allowed.
