Short Note : 1. So far as the question of disclaimer of the title of plaintiff No.2 is concerned, it is not disputed that the defendant had executed two rent-notes Ex. D/1 dated 25th May 1950 and Ex. P/1 dated 1st December 1954 in favour of the two plaintiffs acknowledging them to be the landlords. In reply to the notice (Ex. P/2), the defendant contended, vide his reply Ex. P/4. that plaintiff No.1 alone was the landlord. The defendant thus disclaimed the title of plaintiff No. 2, such an act on his part is covred by the ground specified in section 12 (1) (c) of the Act. Gulam Mohammad and another v.
