Short Note : 1. The petitioner was promoted as Assistant Foreman in the Gun Factory, Jabalpur, By an order passed on 4th June 1977, he was confirmed on that post from 1st December 1971. The order of confirmation was cancelled by order dated 25th June 1977. Held : The question is whether the order dated 25th, June 1977, cancelling the order of confirmation of the petitioner on the post of Foreman is valid. After an employee is confirmed on a particular post, the confirmation order cannot be withdrawn at the sweet will of the employer. The cancellation of the order of confirmation is, therefore, clearly invalid and void. Petition allowed.
