Upon hearing counsel, the Court passed the following order : "While dismissing an S.L.P. filed by a tenant against an order of eviction, this Court has power to grant time to the tenant to vacate the premises on an appropriate undertaking given by him. This can be done without notice to the landlord but the landlord will have the liberty to move the Court for reconsideration of the order. Whether further time to vacate should be given to the tenant or not would, of course, depend on the acts and circumstances of such particular case. 2. Stay of eviction is extended by two weeks from today in these matters except in S.L.P. Civil) No. 5668/80, in which case since the tenant is stated to have already been evicted, there will be no further stay. 3. S.L.P. (Civil) No. 6719/80 be listed on 23-7-1980 and S.L.P. (Civil) No. 5748/80 be listed on 25-7-1980 and the remaining petitioners for special leave to appeal be listed during the course of this week and next week for directions. Order accordingly.
