JUDGMENT : The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has made payment and, therefore, Annexure ‘1’ series which are demands in respect of that period should be quashed. There is substance in this contention. Accordingly Annexure ‘1’ series are quashed. Consequently there should be no prosecution in respects for the period covered by Annexure ‘l’ series.
