JUDGMENT : 1. In the circumstances of the case, we direct that the respondents should pay a sum of Rs. 2,31,000 (Rupees two lakhs thirty one thousand only) annually towards future ground rent and a sum of Rs. 3,00,000 (Rupees three lakhs only) every six months towards arrears of ground rent. The question of payment of interest is left open. The suit will be disposed of expeditiously, preferably within four months from today. The first instalment of Rs. 3,00,000 (Rupees three lakhs only) will be paid before 31st March, 1983. 2. The appeal will stand disposed of in terms of this order. There will be no order as to costs.
