JUDGMENT K S. Sidhu, J. - It has been held by this Court in 1979 WLN (U.C ) 191 that proceedings under Section 125 Cr. P.C. are essentially of a Civil nature and that therefore such an application if dismissed in default can be restored by the Court on sufficient course being shown for, such restoration. The learned Sessions Judge has therefore taken a correct view of the matter in dismissing the revision and holding that the Magistrate acted within jurisdiction in setting aside the dismissal in default of an application under section 125 Cr. P.C. and restoring to its original number. I see no ground to interfere in the order made by learned Sessions Judge. This application under section 482 Cr. P.C is therefore, dismissed. *******
