ORDER : Mr. Soli J. Sorabjee, learned counsel for the petitioners makes a statement that the general stay which is operative may be vacated in respect of : (1) persons holding public office and have paid full amount against allotment; (2) those whose names appear in the list of error cases and who have made full payment; and (3) sale of cars outside India to enable the Company to earn foreign exchange. 2. We accordingly modify the general stay in the aforesaid terms and this will be without prejudice to the rights and contentions of both the parties. 3. The allotments and deliveries made pursuant to the aforesaid modification of the general stay will be debited to the manufacturers 5% discretionary quota. Such deliveries shall be subject to the condition that cars shall not be alienated or transferred by the allottee for a period of 3 years. This last condition will not apply in the case of sale of cars outside India. 4. The Writ Petitions are directed to be listed on 23rd of July 1985.
