ORDER : We have heard Mr. K.K. Venugopal, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr. P.P. Rao, learned counsel for the Union of India and Mr. F.S. Nariman, learned counsel for the respondents. we are satisfied that the respondents are the army officers within the meaning of Rule 8 of the Central Reserve Police Force Rules and that they are entitled to add the length of their unbroken service as ECOs and SSCOs for the purpose of reckoning their seniority.
