S.M.JAIN

body1986
S.M. JAIN, J.—The petitioner has filed an affidavit of Bheru Shanker that the petitioner is in Jail for the last one year and five months and that neither any witness has been examined during this period nor any progress has been made in the trial. The P.P. was given time on 14.8.86 to ascertain the progress of the trial but he is unable to state whether any progress was made or not. I consider, it a fit and proper case where the petitioner may be enlarged on bail. It is, directed that petitioner Gordhan shall be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of Rs. 5,000/- each to the satisfaction of Sessions Judge, Pali to remain present during the course of investigation, inquiry and trial whenever and whenever called upon to do so.
