JUDGMENT 1. By means of the present writ petition the petitioner is challenging the order passed by the University removing him from the roll of University and also debarring him from appearing at the further examination of the University. The actual order has not been filed by the petitioner The petitioner urges that he has not been able to obtain original copy of the order passed against him by the University. 2. We, therefore, direct that a copy of the order shall be given to the petitioner by the University within a week from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the authorities concerned. 3. Sri D. Gupta, learned counsel for the University has urged that the petitioner has an alternative remedy against the impugned order. 4. Against the order appeal lay either under Section 3 6-A or 36 - b of the Aligarh Muslim University Act, 1920. 5. The petitioner is, therefore, directed to avail that remedy. 6. Under the circumstances no interference is called for under Article 226 of the Constitution of India at this stage. If an appeal is filed it shall be disposed of within a period of two months from the date a copy of this order is produced before the authorities concerned. 7. A copy of this order shall be supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioner on payment of usual charges within three days.
