ORDER : 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. Respondent No. 1, the Editor of Hindustan Times is present in Court. We accept the explanation given in paragraph Nos. 5, 6 and 7 of the affidavit filed by the 2nd respondent which indicates that he has realised the folly committed by him in being not careful in the article that appeared in the Hindustan Times in question. From the above paragraphs, we find that he has recented. He has now requested this Court to forgive him for what he did. He has also undertaken to get these paragraph published in the Hindustan Times in furtherance of this realisation by him. We do not think that this is a fit case to he pursued. Accepting the explanation given in the paragraph we discharge the notice and dispose of the petition accordingly.
