JUDGMENT 1. - Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned Public Prosecutor for the State. The learned counsel for the petitioner gives cut that 50 gms. of opium was found on the person of petitioner No. 1 and 2 kgs. of 'Bhaang' was recovered from petitioner No. 2. 2. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that 50 gms. of opium is too small a quantity, and that this Court in several cases, has granted bail when the quantity of the opium was much more. 3. Regarding petitioner No.2, the learned counsel gives out that the matter is not covered by the Narcotics Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 4. I have also perused the order of the trial court. 5. In this view of the matter, I am inclined to accept this application for bail. 6. It is, therefore, ordered that petitioners Mohammed Matin and Mohammed Amin be relased on bail, on each of their furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- together with two sureties of Rs. 2,500/- each, to the satisfaction of the trial court, for their appearance before the said court whenever called upon to do so during the pendency of the trial against them.Bail granted. *******
