JUDGMENT : An affidavit has been filed by Miss. Nilima Tewari stating that the letter purporting to have been written by her as Mrs. Nilima Priyadarshini is a forgery and that has been addressed to the Chief Justice with mischievous intent. Having regard to the contents of the affidavit we direct the Central Bureau of Investigation to conduct an enquiry into the origin and authorship of the letter dated November, 21, 1986 and the circumstances in which the said letter was written. The Central Bureau of Investigation will complete the enquiry within three months from today. The original letter shall be preserved by the Registry and handed over to duly authorised officer of the Central Bureau of Investigation on request made in this behalf. The petitioner Nilima Tewari is discharged from this proceeding. District Magistrate Singh Bhoom will take all necessary steps to ensure that Miss. Nilima Tewari is not harassed by anyone in respect of this matter. The enquiry directed by this Court by its earlier order shall continue to be in abeyance. Order accordingly.
