ORDER : M.M. Dutt, J. - Issue Rule Nisi. 2. I direct that status quo as to the rights of the hereditary Archakas, Trustees and Mirasdars as on the date immediately before the passing of the impugned Act shall be maintained pending disposal of the writ petitions, subject to this that Archakas, Trustees and Mirasdars shall 10 keep an account of the offerings, both in cash and in kind, and the value thereof as may be taken by the hereditary Archakas, Trustees and Mirasdars as their remuneration, salary and perquisites as used to be taken by them immediately before the commencement of the Act and submit the same to the Executive Officer or to the Commissioner of 15 Religious Endowments, as the case may be, every month, by the 15th day of the next succeeding month. The first of such accounts shall be submitted by 15th July, 1987 for the month of June, 1987. 3. In view of the importance of the points involved in the Writ Petitions, it is desirable that they should be disposed of as early as possible. The respondents shall file their affidavits in-opposition within three weeks from today. The affidavits-in-reply shall be filed within a fortnight thereafter. The matter may be placed before Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India on 14th July, 1987 so that the parties may pray for fixing an early date of hearing. 4. So far as the Archakas. Mirasdars and Trustees of the Tirupati temple are concerned they must furnish security to the extent of the value of their net monthly shares in the offering receivable by them to the satisfaction of the Collector of the District by the 15th of the next succeeding month. The first of such security shall be furnished by 15th 3 July, 1987 for the month of June, 1987. In the Special Lease Petitions. 5. As agreed to by the parties it is ordered that the Writ Petitions pending before the High Court shall be transferred to this Court and shall be tagged on with Writ Petition Nos. 638/87, 696/87 and 713 of 1987 filed in this court. The Special Leave Petitions are disposed of accordingly.
