JUDGMENT 1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the University. 2. The petitioners came to this Court earlier by filing a Writ Petition No. 16315 of 1986 claiming a relief against the University, that they had not opted for the new grading system, but wanted to continue with the old system, namely, 101 point system. This Court allowed their petition by judgment dated 4th March, 1987, and directed the respondents to permit the petitioners to complete the course in B. Sc. (Engineering) under 101 point system. 3. In pursuance of the order of this Court, the University passed an order on 5th June, 1987, that the request made by the petitioner for being governed under the new grading system in future cannot be accepted unless the said orders are modified by the High Court. We find no ground for modifying the order passed earlier The petitioners wanted that they should be granted 101 point system, they cannot be permitted to change it at this stage. 4. The petition has no merits and is accordingly, dismissed.
