Randhir Singh v. Board Of School Education, Haryana Andanother

1988-01-18

B.C.RAY, G.L.OZA

body1988
(1) SPECIAL leave granted. Heard leamed counsel forthe parties. (2) IN our opinion, it is a fit case wherethe Board should hve regularisedthe services ofthe appellants as they were employed as casual workers, although admittediy they were clerks inthe office ofthe Board. It is therefore directed that their services will be regularised fromthe date they joined initially inthe service ofthe Board. However, it is made clear that they will not get monetary benefit forthe period they were not in service, but they will gain other advantages of continuons service dur- ing this period. (3) THE appeal is disposed of accordingly. There will be no order as to costs.
