ORDER : 1. It is clarified that the respondent South Eastern Railway in making employment for the employees in Group(C) & (D) Posts Services earmarked for the physically handicapped persons will follow the directions contained in the letter dated 8th January, 1978 which is at page 39 of the Paper Book. The appointments will be made of the ex-leprosy patients if they are medically found fit and are able to perform the work required of them. It is also clarified that if persons who are blind, may be so considered for absorption in the category of blinds, if however, there are not sufficient number of blind persons but if they are deaf then they may be considered for absorption in that category and similarly if there are no sufficient number of deaf then these may be considered for absorption of the orthopaedically handicapped persons as mentioned in the said letter. These appointments with the other eligible candidate should be made three months from today. This order will be effected not only for the present but in future also. 2. This Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of by the other herein.
