ORDER : 1. We have heard larger Additional Solicitor General for the Union of India and Mr. Mukhety for the petitioners. The Additional Solicitor General wants this matter to be adjourned till the last week of January to enable the new Government to look into the matter and take, its own decision. The adjournment as prayed for is granted and the matter shall now be listed on 30.1.90 subject to the condition that in the month of December, in terms of the previous orders dated 12.9.89 and 20.10.89 a sum of Rs. 12.5 crores approximately representing to 15.5% of the annual basic salary shall be disbursed with the salary for the month of December, 1989. This payment shall be on account and shall be subject to the decision.
