CHANDRAKANTARAJ, J. ( 1 ) THE question raised in this writ petition cannot be gone into by this court in view of the threshold bar created by article 329 (a) of the Constitution which reads as follows:" (A) the validity of any law relating to the delimitation of constituencies, or the allotment of seats to such constituencies, made or purporting to be made under article 327 or article 328, shall not be called in question in any court. "the petitioner's grievance is that the sirsi assembly constituency is reserved for scheduled castes for the last 22 years and more and thereby depriving the other citizens the chance of representing that constituency. The reservation made is part of the powers exercised by the election commission under article 327 of the Constitution and therefore the expression "delimitation and allocation of scats" covers the reservation of the constituency as well and as such the bar is operative, the petitioner cannot seek the relief in this court. ( 2 ) THE petition is dismissed. writ petition dismissed. --- *** --- .
