ORDER : Kuldip Singh, J. 1.The election to Parliament from Arunachal Pradesh is fixed for 23-5-1991. The Election Commission in exercise of its power under Section 25 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 has already made arrangements to conduct the elections. The States of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and Nagaland are directed to cooperate with each other and to follow directions of the Election Commission strictly. 2. The Election Commission will be at liberty to make any change or modification having regard to the conditions prevailing in the localities. The State Governments of the States of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and Nagaland and the electoral authorities shall carry out directions issued by the Election Commission and no interference of any kind shall be caused in holding of the elections at the polling stations fixed by the Election Commission or by its officers under its direction. This order is subject to the final decision by this Court in the suits filed between the parties. The IAs are disposed of. Court Masters.
