ORDER : A.M. Ahmadi, J. 1. We have heard learned counsel for the petitioners, the Union of India and the Delhi Administration. We have perused the order of 12th March, 1990, which it is alleged has not been complied with. That order in terms states we direct the Delhi Administration to absorb the petitioners in accordance with the prepared scheme for absorbing casual labourers, which scheme has been made effective from October 1, 1988. This directive had not been complied with as yet. In order to give Delhi Administration one further opportunity, we do not propose to take any action for the present but would expect the Delhi Administration to comply with the order dated March 12, 1990 within two weeks from today. Failure to avail of this opportunity would tantamount to aggravated contempt. 2. Learned counsel for the Delhi Administration states Rs 1,87,200 is available for disbursement of wages to the petitioners of the Writ Petition, the order whereof is stated to have been breached. We would direct the Delhi Administration to disburse the wages in keeping with the order of 12th March, 1990. Wages may also be disbursed within two weeks and compliance reported. 3. Let the Contempt Petition come up after two weeks.
