Order Mr. Standing Counsel no. 6 says that he has received instruction stating that the Department has placed the matter before the Finance Minister stating that the petitioner may be given pension on the basis of revised scale with effect from 1.3.1989. He says that as soon as the matter gets approval by the Finance Minister, orders will be passed for enhancement of pension. In the circumstance we dispose of this application with a direction to the Finance Secretary to place the matter personally before the Finance Minister within three weeks from today and get an order from him. The Finance Secretary personally shall be liable for contempt if the matter is not finalised within this period. 2. Let a copy of this order be given to Standing Counsel no. 6.
