KULDIP SINGH, S.RATNAVEL PANDIAN

body1992
JUDGMENT : When the matter on the last occasion was directed to be listed today, a representation was made by the Standing Counsel for the State of Maharashtra that State has not filed the SLP as against the order in Cr1. R.A. No.123/91 and time was required upto 2nd April 1992. On that representation the matter was adjourned to 2.4.92 on condition that the respondent should be informed of the adjournment so that he may not take the pain of coming to Delhi. But it is stated that even before officers could approach and inform the respondent, the respondent had already left Bombay and come to Delhi. In the result, the respondent was not informed as he was not available at Bombay to be informed. However, as the respondent is appearing before this court as a party-in-person, we adjourn the matter on payment of cost of Rs.2,000/ - to the respondent. The amount is to be paid over within three weeks from today to the respondent. List this matter on 2.4.92.
