JUDGMENT : M. Katju, J. Petitioner's father was a Lecturer in a college, who died in harness on 31-1-75. The Petitioner claimed to be appointed in his place under the Dying in Harness Rules. Petitioner applied for the first time in 1984 view of the Judgment of this Court in Harvansh Sahai Srivastava Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh and Others, (1991) 61 FLR 693 , he cannot be appointed. 2. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed.
