Order This writ application can be disposed of having regard to the statement made by the learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the District Magistrate, Khagaria. The whole dispute was regarding holding of the Municipal Election, Khagaria. 2. There is no dispute that such ejection has to be held as it is over-due, and that the ad-hoc committee cannot continue in function indefinitely after expiry of the period A stand was sought to be taken by the District Magistrate, Khagaria on earlier occasion that there was no sufficient fund for holding the election. This matter should have been rectified by him and his predecessor, but this was ignored. 3. Now we ale informed that the Government has sanctioned the necessary funds for holding such election. Accordingly, we dispose of this application by passing the following orders:- The District Magistrate, Khagaria is directed to fix a programme for such election and such programme is to be published by 30th November, 1992. Such programme shall be in accordance with law and such election has to be held as soon as possible in compliance with the provisions of law. 4. This application is disposed of accordingly. Let a copy of this order be given to the learned Counsel for the respondents.
