ORDER : K. Jayachandra Reddy, J. - Heard learned counsel. 2. The appellant is convicted under Section 304 Part I Indian Penal Code. The High Court has confirmed the same. While the trial court sentenced the appellant to 7 years? R.I., the High Court reduced it to 4 years by its judgment dated 20-12-1979. Both the courts below have held that the appellant caused the fatal injury, but the offence would be one punishable under Section 304 Part I, Indian Penal Code. In the year 1979, the appellant was aged 60 years and now he must be 73 years? old. In the circumstances, while confirming the sentence we reduce it to 2 years. 3. With this modification of sentence, the appeal is disposed of.
