(1) DR D.N. Garg, Regional Officer, Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board has filed the affidavit dated 19/11/1993. The status-position in relation to 295 industries which responded to the notices issued by the Pollution Control Board has been given in para 5 of the said affidavit. (2) ACCORDING to the averments in para 5, 64 industries listed in Annx. II it pages 22-160 have already installed air pollution control devices to the satisfaction of the Board. Learned counsel, however, states that process of inspection is going on and complete picture shall emerge thereafter. The Board shall submit report in this respect within three weeks. (3) 144 industries listed in Annx. III at pages 161-172 and further 66 industries listed in Annx. IV at pages 175-180 are in the process of installation/formulating schemes regarding air pollution control system. The Board shall issue notices to these industries to complete the installation by 31/01/1994. (4) ACCORDING to the affidavit M/s Prakash Iron Foundry and M/s Agra Tannery Leather haye removed the source of air pollution. The Board shall file the details within one week as to how these industries have removed the source of air pollution. (5) INDUSTRIES listed in Annx. VI at pages 204-207 (except serial No. 13 at page 204 have not shown any progress regarding installation of air pollution control systems in compliance with the orders of this court dated 17/09/1993. We direct closure of these industries forthwith. We further direct the District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police concerned to have the orders of this court complied with forthwith. A report in this respect be sent to this court by the Board within two weeks. As and when the air pollution control devices are set up, the Board shall inspect the same and obtain orders of suspension of closure from this court. (6) TO be listed on 17/12/1993. COURT Master
