JUDGMENT 1. - Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. It is submitted that the petitioner is in custody since April 25, 1993. The recovery of 250 mgs. of smack has been shown from the petitioner which comes in small quantity as specified for the purpose of Section 2.7(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, for which the maximum punishment is one year. 3. After considering all the facts and circumstances, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner under section 439 Cr.P.C. 4. It is, therefore, ordered that the petitioner Nanda Singh s/o Badri Singh shall be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. Fifty Thousands) with two sureties in the amount of Rs. 25,000/- each, to the satisfaction of the trial court to appear before it or any other court on all the dates of hearing during the pendency of trial against him in the case. *******
