JUDGMENT 1. - The petitioner-appellant was convicted and sentenced by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Nohar, by judgment dated 12th Oct. 1987 and is under going imprisonment at District Jail, Alwar. He was initially lodged at Central Jail, Bikaner, but on account of repair work under-taken by the Government of Central Jail, Bikaner. certain convicts were transferred to various district jails. The petitioner was also transferred to District Jail, Alwar. An application has been moved on behalf of the appellant that his wife and children are living in village Gheu tehsil Bhadra and there is no male earning member in the family. The wife and children of the petitioner - appellant could not meet him on account of financial difficulties and the long distance between Alwar and his village Gheu and, therefore, he may be transferred to the Central Jail, Bikaner. In order to preserve the Family tie. We think it proper that the convict appellant Harisingh s/o Ram Chand, Jat Sikh R/o Gheu who is undergoing imprisonment in District Jail Alwar should be transferred to the Central Jail, Bikaner, so that his wife and children may meet him occasionally. 2. The application filed by the appellant - petitioner is allowed. It is directed that convict Hari Singh under going imprisonment in Sessions Case No. 42/86 of the Court of Addl. Sessions Judge, Nohar, may be transferred to the Central Jail, Bikaner, within a period of one month from today. Copy of this order may be sent to the Superintendent. District Jail, Alwar, as well as to the Superintendent of Central Jail, Bikaner.Petition allowed. *******
