Mahinder Narain ( 1 ) THIS petition has been filed for grant of Letters of Administration of the Will dated 16. 07. 1980 executed by Smt. Rama Khanna, which is annexed to the petition. ( 2 ) THE petition is verified by one of the attesting witnesses Mr. L. R. Gupta, Senior Advocate of this Court, who has made statement in Court about his being the person to verify the petition as well as attesting witness to the Will of Smt. Rama Khanna. ( 3 ) ACCORDING to petitioner No. l Y. D. Khanna, he is the son of Smt. Rama Khanna, who had executed the Will. The Will makes Smt. Vimla Sindhi, resident of 14, Willingdon Crescent, New Delhi, as executrix of the Will, but since Smt. Vimla Sindhi has died, this petition for grant of Letters of Administration has been filed by both the beneficiaries under the Will. ( 4 ) IT has been stated by Mr. L. R. Gupta that he was one of the two attesting witnesses to the Will; that the two attesting witnesses to the Will signed the Will in presence of the testatrix of the: Will, and in presence of each other. The testatrix Smt. Rama Khanna had signed the Will in presence of both the attesting witnesses. ( 5 ) THE Will dated 16. 07. 1980. thus stands duly proved as required by the Indian Succession Act, 1925. ( 6 ) AS the Will dated 16. 07. 1980 stands duly proved. I grant Letters of Administration with the Will annexed, to the petitioners. ( 7 ) LET Letters of Administration be issued by the registry to petitioner No. 1. for the benefit of and in the name of both the petitioners.
