JUDGMENT : 1. We have seen the additional affidavit dated 11th October 1995 filed by Shri Bal Thackeray. We are not satisfied either with the contents or with the tenor of that affidavit in as much as it does not give the impression of being a genuine unconditional apology and appears to be more in the form of an approval of the action of his counsel Shri Ram Jethmalani as stated at the very outset in the affidavit. Now at the request of his counsel Shri Khanwilkar we grant one more opportunity as a last chance to Shri Bal Thackeray to file a further affidavit of the stand he intends to take in this matter in response to the notice issued to him to show cause why proceedings for contempt should not be initiated against him. The further affidavit, if any, be filed by 30th October 1995 and the matter be listed on 1st November at 4.00 P.M. before the same Bench. 2. The copy of the affidavit to be filed be given to the learned Solicitor General by 30th October.
