JUDGMENT : 1. After the issues were framed on 7.9.95 the suit was ordered to be listed on 21.11.95 but could not be taken up on that date. Today when the matter was called on for hearing our attention was drawn to I.A. No. 3/95 by which the Plaintiff-State desires to amend the plaint. By the proposed amendment the plaintiff desires to introduce averments in regard to events which have taken place subsequent to the filing of the suit. We have perused the sane and we are of the opinion that the prayer for amendment of the plaint deserved to be granted since it does not change the nature or character of the suit. We, therefore, allow the amendment application and direct that the amendment shall be carried within 14 days from today in accordance with rules and a copy of the amended plaint will be served on the defendants who will be at liberty to file an additional written statements dealing with the amended portion of the plaint. They may do so within four weeks 'after the service of the amended plaint. By consent, let the matter come up on 6.2.96.
