ORDER 1. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties this writ petition is being disposed of by passing the following order. 2. This writ petition has been filed inter alia for grant of affiliation to the Institute of Dental College, namely, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Dental Pharmaceutical Sciences and Hospital by the Magadh University at Bodh Gaya. 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that during pendency of this writ application an inspection was conducted in respect to this College by the Dental Council of India under the orders of the Central Government. Pursuant to the said inspection, a report has been submitted. A copy of the said inspection report has been enclosed along with the amendment petition. The report is dated 19.7.1995 in respect of the inspection of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Dental Pharmaceutical Sciences and Hospital. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after the said report was made a representation dated 19.7.1995 for grant of affiliation by the Magadh University in the light of the inspection report was submitted. But the University authorities have not as yet taken any decision on the said representation. 4. This writ petition is being disposed of by directing the authorities of the Magadh University, who are represented by a counsel before this Court, to take a final decision in the matter of grant of affiliation to the said institute within a period of 31.10.1995. It is also made clear that while taking such decision, the authorities of the Magadh University will act independently and will not in any way be bound by any observation in this order. It is further made clear that while taking such decision the Magadh University will also take into account the inspection report submitted by the Dental Council of India. It is further made clear that before taking decision the authorities of the Magadh University will give a hearing to the representative of the petitioner institute. 5. With the above observation/direction this writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to cost.
