body1995
JUDGMENT : 1. Pursuant to this Court's order dated May 4, 1995, Mr. K.A.Nambiar, Defence Secretary, Government of India, has filed affidavit. In the affidavit, he has given the details of the amounts paid and payable to Captain Virendra Kumar, Advocate. The details of the amounts which have already been paid to him have been mentioned. Whatever remains to be paid to him has also been stated. Mr. Virendra Kumar has fairly stated that he would go to the office of the Pay & Accounts Officer, III, West Block, R.K.Puram, on August 11, 1995 at 2.30 p.m. to receive the amount payable to him. He would meet the Pay & Accounts Officer. We have no doubt that the Pay & Accounts Officer will settle all the accounts and pay him whatever is due to Capt. Virendra Kumar, Advocate. 2. With these observations, we dispose of the Contempt Petition finally. 3. Mr. N.M. Goswamy, learned Senior Advocate has raised an objection regarding the petitioner's styling himself as "Major General". According to the learned counsel, the petitioner is not a Major General and he never was. In these proceedings, we cannot investigate into this question. The respondents may, if so advised, take any action in this respect in accordance with law. 4. The Contempt Petition is disposed of.
