JUDGMENT : 1. Leave granted in the S.L.P. (C) No. 10440/94. 2. These appeals have been filed on behalf of Union of India and others for setting aside the judgment of the Calcutta High Court, holding that 1984 regulations so far they allow temporary licence to be issued on conditions prescribed therein were invalid. On that finding, the writ petition filed by the respondents in the present appeals were allowed. In view of the judgment which has been delivered today by us in C.A. No. 2632 of.1985, these appeals are allowed. The judgment of the High Court is set aside and the writ petition filed on behalf of the respondents is dismissed. No costs.
