JUDGMENT : 1. The 15 Tanneries mentioned by Mr. S.P. Chakrabarti in his affidavit dated 9.5.1996 are lying closed. Keeping in view the affidavit of Mr. Chakrabarti and the report of that Central Pollution Control Board annexed thereto, we suspend the closure order in respect of these Tanneries for eight weeks from today. The matter pertaining to Tamil Nadu Tanneries in general, be listed on Friday week. 2. The suspension order regarding the 57 Tanneries mentioned in our order dated 6.5.1996 is further suspended for a period of two weeks. 3. M/s. Melvisharan Tanneries ETP Pvt. Ltd. : To be listed on Friday.
