JUDGMENT : 1. In spite of our request made in our Petition 8257/87 and others referred to in Para order dated the 2nd February, 1996, we are 1 of the said order. We had already noted with sorry to note that the High Court of Punjab regret that the High Court chose to accord and Haryana has not so far disposed of Writ stay of notification enhancing minimum wages and that the stay has been continuing for the last seven years. It is five months since we made the request. The Registrar of the High Court may bring this order to the notice of the Hon'ble Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court for appropriate orders. We hope and trust that the matters will be disposed of within three weeks. 2. List the l.As after four weeks. 3. A copy of this order be communicated to the Registrar, High Court of Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh. 4. On the next date of hearing Mr. S.K. Bhattacharya, counsel will file statements indicating the steps taken by the Central Government and the State Government in the matter of implemention of the aforesaid order.
