JUDGMENT : Office Report Dated 28th August, 1996, State of West Bengal Item 'A' 1. Mr. Kapil Sibal, Mr. Dipankar Gupta, Mr. Ranjit Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the officers as well as for the industry state that the Pollution Control devices in respect of M/s. IISCO, Burdwan, West Bengal shall be completed by the time already given by this Court. We direct the West Bengal Pollution Control Board to inspect the industry and file a report by the 1st week of November, 1996. All the officers are present in Court. We direct only the Managing Director to be present in Court on the next date of hearing. 2. List on 8th November, 1996. Item 'B' 3. Pursuant to this Court's order dated August 6, 1996, Mr. Prabir Ranjan Das, Deputy General Manager (Operations) of Air Pollution Control unit M/s. Andrew Yule & Company Ltd. has filed an affidavit dated August 19, 1996. Para 6 of the affidavit is under: "That it is submitted the major technical problems pertaining to Unit No. 3 hay been resolved and expect to complete the work by 31.3.1997 as directed b this Hon'ble Court barring unforeseen development of techno-commercial issues that may arise during the court of installation work." 4. We have no doubt that the project shall complete by the date fixed by this Court and accepted by M/s. Andrew Yule & Company Ltd. Mr. Prabir Ranjan Das shall file an affidavit in this Court giving the progress of the work before November 8, 1996. The matter to come up on that date.
