JUDGMENT : We have seen the order of allotment in favour of the petitioner which is dated 11.12.96. We also take notice of the allegation of the petitioner that respondent No.3 has ceased to be a Member of Parliament and yet continues to occupy the Government accommodation which was allotted to him while he was MP. Mr. Salve submits that this developing tendency of holders of public offices not to vacate the Government accommodation after they cease to be entitled to occupy the same must be checked. We are inclined to agree that this prevalent counter-culture, which cannot be justified from any standpoint, out to be curbed by all concerned. 2. Issue notice.
