JUDGMENT : 1. The inspection team which visited the Taj and the area around Taj for the purpose of inspecting the progress in setting up of the green belt has reported that a hotel under the name 'Mumtaj Mahal' is in the process of being constructed at a distance of hardly few metres from the Taj Complex. Learned Solicitor General is present in court. We request him to find out as to whether the necessary permission has been obtained and if so from which authorities. We further request him to have the actual construction stopped till further orders. 2. List the matter on 20.2.1996.
