JUDGMENT : 1. Pursuant to this Court's order dated March 13, 1996 Mr. Vijay L. Kelkar, Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, New Delhi has filed an affidavit. Mr. Altaf Ahmad, learned Additional Solicitor General, states that he would look into the records and file further affidavit of a responsible officer giving response to the other allegations regarding relationship to V.I.Ps. It is stated that during the Financial Year 1995-96, number of Petrol Pumps/ Gas Agencies which could be allotted at the discretion of the Minister was 100. It is stated that in 60 cases, orders have already been issued. There are other cases where orders on the files have been passed and which orders regarding allotment out of the cases are being processed. List of all these cases be filed within one week. The relevant files may also be produced. Copy of the order be sent to the Ministry immediately. 2. List the petition on March 27, 1996.
