JUDGMENT : 1. Pursuant to this Court's Order dated January 29, 1996, Mr. C. Ramachandran, Secretary, Ministry of Urban Affairs, Department of Urban Development, Government of India, has placed before this Court his report in two parts. We have given a copy of the report to Mr. K.T.S. Tulsi, Additional Solicitor General assisting us in these matters. Mr. Tulsi states that he will have further copies done within two days. The learned counsel may examine the report and assist this Court on next Tuesday at 2.p.m. 2. We are thankful to Mr. Ramachandran for the useful report. We place on record our appreciation for the assistance Mr. Ramachandran has rendered to this Court in these matters. Item 'B' 3. Pursuant to this Court's Order dated February 29, 1996, Mr. K.T.S. Tulsi, Additional Solicitor General has placed before us various suggestions. While we are still considering the suggestions, we are of the view that those who are occupying Type III and above houses in the "Special Compassionate" ground category be issued show cause notices. The Director of Estates shall have published notice as to why the persons occupying Type III and above houses in the "Special Compassionate" ground category be not evicted. The public notices in two English and two vernacular newspapers shall be published for two consecutive days within two weeks. The allottee-occupants may file objections, if any, within two weeks thereafter. The Director of Estates shall compile the objections in respect of each of the occupant and place it before this Court. It may also be indicated in the notice that the persons may, if they so wish, appear in this Court in support of their objections, on July 16, 1996. 4. List on July 16, 1996. Item 'C', & 'D' 5.
