JUDGMENT : 1. M.C.D., N.D.M.C. and D.D.A. are directed to respond to the 8th Inspection Report submitted by the Central Pollution Control Board and the recommendations made by the three learned lawyers of this Court who were constituted a committee to ascertain the cleanliness efforts being made by the above authorities. The responses to be filed within four weeks. 2. The Central Pollution Control Board will also submit a report by that date regarding installation and functioning of pollution control devices in the different hospitals in Delhi as ordered by this Court on December 4, 1996. The D.D.A. will also submit a report by then regarding the cleaning of the roads and the taking over the colonies in terms of the order of this Court dated December 2, 1996. 3. The learned counsel for the Union of India prays for and is granted six weeks' further time to file a comprehensive plan in compliance with the order of this Court dated December 9.
