body1997
JUDGMENT 1. - The, petitioner has moved this application for temporary suspension of sentence and interim bail on the ground of his sister's marriage is going to be solemnized on 11.11.1997. In support, affidavits of Kalyan Singh, Balu Singh, certificate issued by the Up-sarpanch and marriage invitation card have been filed alongwith the application. Prima facie, we do not find any good ground to disbelieve them. 2. As the petitioner's presence is needed to perform religious ceremony at the time of his sister's marriage, we think it just and proper to suspend the sentence and grant interim relief to the petitioner. 3. It is, therefore, ordered that the petitioner shall be released on bail provided he furnishes a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Ratangarh, with the stipulation that he shall surrender before the Superintendent, Central Jail, Bikaner, on or before 22.11.1997. In case the petitioner fails to surrender, the concerned Superintendent, Central Jail shall intimate this Court for taking steps for his arrest.
