JUDGMENT : Heard on I.A. No..../97. 1. In view of the circumstances in which C.W.P. No. 2992/97 has been filed in the Delhi High Court and for the reasons given by Shri Shanti Bhushan, learned senior counsel, to justify the filing of that Writ Petition in the Delhi High Court inspite of the order dated 9.7.97 of this court in this proceeding, we consider it appropriate to permit the petitioners before the High Court in that Writ Petition to withdraw that Writ Petition from the Delhi High Court and to raise the additional point said to be involved in that matter by a suitable application made in this proceeding in this court through the Amicus Curiae. On such an application being filed through the Amicus Curiae, the respondents would file a reply to the same within a week of that application being filed. 2. Order on the I.A. accordingly. 3. List on 12.9.97 for directions.
